Purpose
Believing that the future prosperity of Japan mainly depends on the development of an industrial economy, our goal is to support and promote education and research related to the natural sciences and humanities that serve as the foundations of that prosperity, and by working to make those results known contribute to the improvement of scholarship and culture and making people’s livelihoods more fulfilling.
