Prospectus
- To support research in the natural sciences related to foodstuffs in particular, as well as research in the humanities
- To contribute to the well-being of humanity by finding applications for the results of that research
- The foundation’s endowment is extremely small. However, it is something into which founder Mishima Kaiun infused all of his personal wealth.
- The foundation aims to spread the Mahayana Buddhism spirit of forgetting selfish desires and contributing to the public good. Our hope is to be a single grain of wheat that has been cast upon a broad field.
